HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST (Anchorage) -- Occupational health and safety professional for: preparation and review of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) plans for ongoing projects (site assessment, remediation, UST removal, reserve pit closures, biological studies, etc.), compliance support to meet state and federal OSHA regulations, HSE-related training, project level auditing, and operational support and maintenance of the OASIS HSE management system (conformant with OHSAS 18001, and externally certified to ISO 14001). Candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in the environmental industry or a related field and have recently acquired or be working towards professional certification (CIH, CSP, etc.). Good interpersonal, communication, and training skills required. Experience with international standards ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 a plus. Position will periodically require field work at remote sites in Alaska, the Lower 48 states, and internationally (approximately 20% of time). Occupational Health and Safety degree required (BS or MS), with 2-3 years experience. Salary DOE.
