Mr. Authier has more than 28 years of varied professional experience, including over 20 years of environmental experience in Alaska. As a geological engineer with a hydrogeology focus, he has managed numerous water quality monitoring, site assessment and remediation projects for both government and private clients. He has been an integral member of the OASIS team responsible for successfully achieving risk-based closures at several sites. Mr. Authier is a hands-on manager, periodically leading field sampling efforts to keep in touch with the challenges faced by field crews to collect representative data under harsh Arctic conditions. He has a proven ability to identify remedial alternatives, select the most appropriate and cost-effective remedial strategy considering site-specific conditions, and implement solutions that meet project objectives.
