Mr. Trudgen brings over 33 years of environmental experience to all of his projects. He specializes in managing interdisciplinary environmental programs and designing and conducting field studies. He has broad experience with state and federal regulations including the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act, Marine Mammal Protection Act, Essential Fish Habitat evaluations, Migratory Bird Species Act, State of Alaska Fish and Game Regulations and State of Alaska Water Quality Regulations. He has designed and implemented programs for fish evaluations along an 800 mile pipeline, managed teams of scientists collecting baseline fish, benthic, plankton, sediment and physical riverien habitat parameters for a proposed coal project, and has lead teams of subcontractors during the production of several environmental assessment reports. Dave has also authored Endangered Species Act Section 7 Biological Reports that are used by the US Fish and Wildlife Service as they evaluate potential project effects to endangered species. He has worked with diverse groups in the public and private sectors to help resolve environmental and biological study issues. He has participated in public meetings providing project specific expertise, reports and response to public generated questions.
